The request from Mr. Rosenauer and Mr. Summer - architects from popular Chalet Moeller (Schottenhof) - a challenging task for SunSquare.
It was not until 2014 that the Schottenhof and the dilapidated winter garden were renovated with a slight extension and a current interpretation of historical trellis cladding.
The large and popular outdoor dining area is located in front of this striking extension.
In order to be able to use the garden more flexibly, SunSquare was contacted to find a solution.
A constructive, open and creative collaboration began.
The requirement profile seemed complex: the entire terrace area should be spanned and thus protect from the sun and light rain.
Major renovations were to be avoided and a focus on lightness was required - despite the large dimensions.
On the one hand, the canopy of the annex, on the other hand, newly developed supports - made by a boat builder - serve as supports for the long sail waves.
Every detail was fine-tuned until it came together to form a self-evident whole. An open and creative dialogue between those involved was one of the most important foundations for the success of this exceptional project.
The project with over 200 m² of cloth area received praise and admiration from many sides, but above all from the guests.
