Generational Project - JOSEP & SunSquare Cooperation

This exceptional construction project is based on a humanist architectural concept by JOSEP, which focuses on dignity, sustainability and intergenerational coexistence. The wooden house binds CO₂ on a large scale, deliberately dispenses with sealed surfaces for cars and instead creates space for people and nature.

A central element of the project is the shared garden area, for which Sunsquare a tailor-made shading solution has developed:

Two awning systems of this type SQS With each 34 m² area, made as a ray sail from Orchestra U335 Gypse Pique, were symmetrical in the axis assembled, there is also parallelism in the inclination of the cloth wave — a clear commitment to structural order and aesthetics. Die discreet façade attachment was deliberately chosen so as not to disturb the architecture.

Particularly noteworthy is the independent controllability of the two sails — they can be used individually and offer flexible shading for different times of day and needs.

This project shows how architecture and technical solutions can go hand in hand — for a future worth living in, which is based on humanity, experience and simple principles.
