10 SunSquare shade sails for the NH Gran Hotel Casino Extremadura in Badajoz

An exceptional shading solution featuring a total of ten SunSquare shade sails was created for the NH Gran Hotel Casino Extremadura in Badajoz, Spain. The project was realised through close collaboration between two SunSquare sales partners, Vito Projectos and Aludec, from individual planning to the precise on-site integration of the systems.

Customized shading on an impressive scale

The individually manufactured shade sails cover areas ranging from 27 to 62 m², collectively creating approximately 470 m² of protected outdoor space. The systems were precisely tailored to the architecture, the various terrace areas, and the existing structural conditions.

Some of the shade sails were elegantly integrated into existing metal structures. As a result, the textile shading blends harmoniously into the hotel's architecture while preserving the spacious, open feel of the outdoor areas.

The high-quality fabric chosen for the sails was Infinity U337 . It gives the expansive sail surfaces a modern, clean look and provides hotel guests with reliable protection from intense sunlight and rain.
