Three SunSquare sails — two rectangular and one triangular — shade 125 m² at a private lakeside home. Soltis fabric ensures effective sun protection.
SunSquare Shade – Textile Architecture for a Building with a Clear Design Language
This sophisticated private project features multiple SunSquare models harmoniously integrated into the architecture. The combination of different sail types not only provides functional shade but also makes a striking architectural statement.
- Two single-sided rectangular sails with fabric surfaces of 50 m² and 35 m² – one in the garden, the other on the rooftop terrace
- One triangular SunSquare system with 40 m² of fabric surface by the pool
- All sails are made from Soltis 92 fabric
The choice of white fabric emphasizes the building’s modern lines and creates a bright, airy atmosphere. The varying sail sizes and shapes are perfectly adapted to the architectural conditions, offering optimal sun protection without compromising on design.
A project that demonstrates how sun sails can do more than provide shade – they define spaces.
