An exceptional project deserves exceptional sun protection: For Little Island, the spectacular floating park on the Hudson River in New York City, became seven colorful FOLD & ROLL Sail screens installed.

The SunSquare systems ensure a pleasant microclimate and offer visitors to the public green area comfortable shade — in the middle of the vibrant metropolis.

The project was implemented by our sales partner Blindtek Designer Systems, which perfectly integrated SunSquare technology into the visionary parking concept.

Barry Diller, initiator and financier of the project, spoke publicly about his motivation for the first time on August 2, 2021 — accompanied by international coverage in media such as The New York Times, The standard, Falstaff Travel, GEO Germany and CBS News.
