The joint project between Kramer and Kramer and SunSquare transformed an urban roof terrace into a green roof garden with lush vegetation, an elegant stainless steel pool and generous shading with custom-made SunSquare awnings — a stylish retreat above the rooftops of the city.

Kramer+Kramer and SunSquare design a rooftop garden with pool and custom sun sail — a stylish retreat above the city rooftops.

Rooftop Dream

In close collaboration with the renowned landscape architecture firm Kramer+Kramer, a stylish rooftop garden was created—featuring a custom-designed SunSquare radiant sail that impresses both visually and functionally.

The 25 m² sun sail, made from Sattler 321-325 Beige, provides reliable protection for the lounge and seating area of the rooftop terrace against intense sunlight and light rain. The result is a comfortable, year-round retreat in the heart of the city, surrounded by greenery.

With its subtle color palette and clean design language, the radiant sail integrates seamlessly into the high-end garden concept, enhancing the architectural quality of the project.

This is a prime example of how landscape architecture, design, and functional sun protection can come together to create a space that is not only practical but also architecturally striking.
