Enduring elegance that impresses

In 2016, a high-quality shading solution featuring three SunSquare SQK-I sun sails was installed at an exclusive private villa in Spain. The villa’s expansive, open pool terrace offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape – while also requiring effective protection from sun and rain that would harmoniously complement the modern architecture.

The chosen solution: three individually controllable sun sails, each with a precisely defined fabric surface, offering both functional protection and architectural elegance. Thanks to the clever positioning of stainless steel supports and wall mounts, the installation creates a light, floating appearance that stylishly enhances the premium natural stone flooring and significantly improves the comfort around the pool area.

In 2023, the sail fabrics were renewed using the proven, weather-resistant Orchestra material in the color Titane Piqué. This high-performance fabric stands out for its subtle tone and excellent UV resistance, ensuring continued protection from sun and rain while preserving the system’s elegant aesthetic.

This project is a striking example of how technical expertise, durable materials, and refined design sensibility can come together to create a harmonious and lasting outdoor shading solution – tailored to the highest standards of private outdoor living.
