SunSquare compensator system with awning in Sattler 314-638, mounted on an existing steel structure of a glass roof — minimal installation effort, elegant sun protection for outdoor use.

Creative fastening

Minimal installation effort, maximum impact: A SunSquare system with radial sail was mounted directly onto the existing steel structure of a glass roof.

Flexible, thoughtful, and elegant – this is how modern shading works.

For this project, a SunSquare compensator system was implemented, with the roller cleverly connected to an existing steel structure of a glass roof. This allowed for a minimal installation effort, requiring only two additional mounting points:

One was solved using wall brackets, while the other was anchored directly into natural ground using an earth dowel.

The result: a stable, wind-resistant solution with just two support posts – ideal for a refined outdoor setting.
The radiant sail, made from Sattler 314-638 fabric, perfectly complements the glass roof, which alone provided insufficient shade. Now, the seating area is optimally protected – and with style.
