SunSquare floating sails for commercial and retail space in Warsaw

Right in the vibrant center of Warsaw, one of Poland's most prestigious retail projects was realized: Galeria Mlociny with impressive 75,000 m² commercial and retail space. An equally impressive shading solution was created for the outdoor area of this architectural highlight — with 560 m² SunSquare sun sails of the highest quality.

The project was developed by the Polish sales partner Velasolis implemented and marks a milestone in the integration of textile sun and weather protection into modern architecture. The tried and tested material was used Sattler 314-030, processed to rectangular sail systems on both sides in zigzag design — a solution that is not only functional but also visually convincing.

The sails were floating integrated into a custom-made steel structure, creating an elegant, floating impression. The combination of technical precision, high-quality materials and award-winning design makes this project a true showcase for large-scale urban sun protection.
