Two rectangular sun sails for an exposed rooftop terrace
Two SunSquare systems on a rooftop terrace in Graz provide protection from overheating and rain – made from Sattler 314 fabric by Konrad Sonnensegel GmbH.
Added Value for Employees and Visitors
On an exposed rooftop terrace, two SunSquare rectangular systems were installed – a statement of stylish sun protection and thoughtful architecture.
The ZigZag rectangular sails, measuring 57 m² and 58 m², are made from Sattler 314-868 acrylic fabric and offer reliable protection from overheating and rain, while also creating new possibilities for outdoor use.
Planned and implemented by Konrad Sonnensegel GmbH, each support was mounted directly to the wall – without any interference with the roof surface or need for special sealing.
The result: an elegant solution that respects the architecture while enhancing comfort.
Whether for breaks, meetings, or relaxed moments – the rooftop terrace becomes a true asset for employees and visitors alike.
A project that demonstrates how function and aesthetics can harmoniously coexist in urban spaces.
