In the center of Kammern a place for cultlural and social encounters was built. The city decided to combine an agricultural jewel of the first order, the former estate of the Steinrisser family, with the neighboring barn to create a museum. As a first step, a public space between the two museum buildings, the village square of Kammern, was created. It developed organically, with the active participation of the area's residents.
